Research and analysis

We deliver insightful research for clients using qualitative, quantitative, quasi-experimental, and mixed-methods. We design and deliver numerous data collection tools, including large scale perception surveys, semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and validation workshops.

We use our research to help clients design programmes, refine contextual and thematic knowledge, and refine stakeholder engagements. Our innovative presentation approaches make research products accessible and useable.

Useable programme design

We use actor-based, behaviour-change focused approaches to design programmes. Outputs include visual and narrative theories of change based on which we design measurement approaches to assess progress and test assumptions on which the logic of the programme is based.

We tackle some of the most challenging, yet important, programme design concerns. This includes integrating a behaviour change lens, designing for cross-sectoral collaboration and ensuring products (like theories of change) are useable and embedded in future measurement and learning approaches

Monitoring and evaluation

Our reputation for innovative and useable MEL means that clients come to us when their existing systems do not deliver results. We have extensive experience working with sensitive, hard-to-measure, and qualitative and quantitative data.

We bring partners and clients on the MEL journey, building ownership, iterating data sources/approaches to ensure that clients use and learn from MEL data.

Our unique human centered design measurement approach helps clients gather meaningful, actionable data, and ensure users continue to use our tools after our engagements conclude

Learning

While most learning interventions and activities will focus on workshops and products, we take an audience-centric approach. This means that we design learning products and events to suit the needs of the learning audience.

Our whole-of-programme approach draws on existing measurement tools and data, to feed into learning products. Our learning products include written reports and briefs, infographics, dashboards, and videos
